You are Loved

You Are Loved is more than a catchphrase — it’s who we hope to be. The church isn’t just a place to go on Sundays; it is God’s rescue plan for the world. In Acts, we see love break out of Jerusalem, cross barriers, and reach the ends of the earth, and that same love is alive today. God has no backup plan — He has chosen His people, the church, to carry His love to every neighbor, every outsider, every single person.

The Spirit of God filled the early church so they could carry His love to the world. Love wasn’t meant to stay hidden — it was sent. God’s plan to rescue the world begins with His people. There is no backup plan.

The gospel spread as believers went to Samaria and beyond. God’s love crosses lines of culture, history, and pain — reaching those others overlook. We are called to carry that same barrier-breaking love today.

When Peter entered Cornelius’s house, the church learned God’s love had no boundaries. The gospel is for everyone. His Spirit confirms it — all are welcome in God’s family. His rescue plan is bigger than our comfort zones.

From Jerusalem to Athens to Waterford, the mission has never changed. God’s love is for every person, every culture, every city. The church is His rescue plan — and there is no backup plan. We’ll celebrate that truth together at our Block Party
